How to use:

How to use (for caregivers):

Apply the adhesive-backed device directly to the patient's skin around the anus, making sure the pouch is below the opening, 

Secure the device by ensuring the wafer is sticking to the skin and the pouch is properly closed. The pouch can be drained as needed by opening the tail closure, 

For some systems, a balloon catheter is inserted into the rectum and inflated with a maximum amount of water to secure it. The balloon must be properly inflated and monitored according to the instructions, as over-inflation can cause harm, 

The device is for single use and must be disposed of properly, Convatec. 

For stool sample collection (if a specific kit is provided)
